WaymarkThe field task
For a shared location, keep the original message until you have checked the saved record. Compare a familiar reference or open the coordinate in an external mapping app when appropriate, remembering that the external app has its own data and privacy behaviour. A successful parse means the text was understood as a location; it does not verify who supplied it or whether the location is accessible.
Waymark can display coordinates in several formats and accepts supported numeric coordinate input on the device. Decimal degrees, degrees and minutes or seconds, recognised full plus codes and coordinate-bearing map links are different ways to express a location. A format change changes the representation, not the underlying place. More digits on screen do not improve the accuracy of the original observation.

After the session
A user prepares several manually supplied meeting locations. This is an illustrative scenario, not measured field-test evidence.
Check the source text as well as the formatted result. Rounding, missing signs and an incorrect hemisphere can change the intended place. The app records an input precision estimate for manual coordinates instead of presenting a loosely rounded pair as a fine GPS capture. If the source is ambiguous, obtain a clearer coordinate from the sender before using the place for a return session.
