Start with the essentials

Allow foreground location, enable your phone’s location service and move to an open view of the sky. Wait for a usable GPS fix before recording. Building cover, tunnels and poor reception can affect readings.

Trips stop in the background

Waymark intentionally records only in the foreground. Keep the app visible during a trip. It does not fill in missing segments with invented data.

A bearing is not a road

Find It Back shows a straight-line direction and distance to a saved location. It cannot identify barriers or safe paths. Confirm your route using a suitable map.

Your data and app lock

Records are local to your device. Export CSV files before changing phones or clearing app storage. App lock protects private views; device authentication and PIN recovery depend on the available settings.
